We are proud to announce that Gloria E. Block, cofounder of Block|Reid has been named one of Law Bulletin Media’s 2025 Top Women in Law.

For more than 40 years, Gloria has devoted her practice to protecting children and securing stable futures for families throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Mentored by her father, Arnold Block, she quickly earned a reputation as both a strong trial lawyer and a compassionate advocate. Judges and attorneys regularly turn to her as a Guardian ad Litem/Child Representative in difficult parenting cases because they know she keeps children’s needs at the center of every decision.

Gloria has been recognized for many years as an Illinois Super Lawyer, including among the Top 100 lawyers in Illinois and Top 50 women lawyers in the state, and she remains active in the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Decalogue Society of Lawyers, and the Forensic Forum.
